ESO Beta Key and 28-DCD Days 25-28

Bethesda loves me. They’re having another beta weekend, one I can actually participate in, and they gave me extra keys for the hubby and the munchkins. I can’t wait!

I missed yesterday for the 28-DCD, so I decided to just go ahead and finish up the last four days today so I don’t forget again. I’ve really enjoyed doing this, and I hope you guys have enjoyed it too. Here are the final entries for Coranil and Kaaley.

Day 23: What is your character’s alignment? Yeah…that alignment.  We’re all nerds.   There are online quizzes and everything.

Coranil is true neutral, leaning toward good. Kaaley is chaotic neutral, with good tendencies.

28-DCD Days 21 and 22

Day 21: Relationships

Coranil: He has only recently come to trust Ben Stormblade. He kept an eye on Ben when he first came to Whiterun and believed the young mage was not to be trusted, even if he was close companions with Rowan and Dolff. But over several months, Ben proved himself to be trustworthy. When Coranil was tortured by the Thalmor, Ben expended massive amounts of magicka and energy to heal him, and they spent a lot of time talking on the trip back to Whiterun. Coranil now considers Ben one of his closest friends and would lay down his life for him.

Kaaley: She absolutely loves Ulfric Stormcloak. She admires his strength and his intelligence, as well as the courage it took for him to change his beliefs about elves. She also thinks he’s just adorable.

 

Day 22: Dear Future Me (What does your character want to know?)

Coranil: To Coranil: Have you forgiven yourself yet?

Kaaley: Dear Kaaley: Is this thing with Coranil going to go anywhere, or am I just going to continue leaving chicken feathers on his counter for the next century? It’s a shallow question, I know, but I can be shallow like that. Love and kisses, Kaaley

28-DCD Days 19 and 20

Day 19: What would someone have to do to become friends with your character?  To become enemies?

Coranil: As a merchant, Coranil tries to be friendly, but he doesn’t trust easily. There are only a handful of people he would actually call friends, and to become friends with him, someone would have to gain his trust over time. To become an enemy, they would have to harm or intend to harm him and/or those he cares about, including the High King. All Thalmor are enemies by default, of course, as is anyone still supporting the Empire in Skyrim.

Kaaley: Kaaley is of the same mind as Coranil about the Thalmor and the Empire. While she also doesn’t trust easily, she does make friends more easily and pretty much likes everyone instantly except for the aforementioned Thalmor and Altmer in general. Betrayal of her and her loved ones will make her an enemy, at which point she will delight in making their lives as miserable as possible.

 

Day 20: What happens in Riften, stays in Riften. (What actions has your character taken that he regrets or questions? Does he have any justification for them, and if so, what?)

Coranil: Um, ex-Thalmor. Nuff said.

Kaaley: The only real regret Kaaley has is the decision that killed Rilynn. They broke into the lab of an Altmer, who turned out to be a Thalmor mage. Kaaley hadn’t known, of course, but she’d had a bad feeling about it and went anyway, insisting that Rilynn come with her. They were captured, and the mage tortured and killed Rilynn in an experiment to see how a broken spiritual bond between mates would manifest itself if one of the mates wasn’t Bosmer. Kaaley gave him extensive, painful schooling on just how the surviving mate would react; but if course, it didn’t bring Rilynn back, and she blames herself for dragging him along on the job.

28-DCD Days 17 and 18

Day 17: What is your character’s spirit animal and why (don’t limit yourself to Skyrim animals if you don’t want to)?
Coranil: The moth or butterfly, because he understands what it’s like to undergo a life-changing transformation.

Kaaley: The fox, which is sneaky, cunning, and cute, like her.

Day 18: TARDIS: What time period would your character have liked to have lived in, what events witnessed (for information go the Imperial Library, UESP)
I’m not answering this one because it’s too hard and I’m lazy.
