I have collected and designed tarot cards for a long time, and when I see characters in an epic story, I often say, “Oh, he would make a great <fill in the tarot card here>. I also give them alignments, try to fit them into a Vampire: The Masquerade clan, and think of who would play them in the Dreamcast, but that’s a tale for another time – although I’d be glad to share that info with anybody who wants it.
Somebody asked me once what sort of card I might use as Alduin (I think), and it got me to thinking. How cool would a Skyrim tarot be? I asked around, and my followers on dA and Tumblr thought it sounded like a good idea. So it began.
Although I’m mostly using manipulations of several screenshots, there is some stock photography involved. I give credit where credit is due and expect the same from others. If you want to reblog, please do so with a link and full credit to me, and don’t pass the manips along as your own. If you would like to feature a card somewhere, please ask. I won’t bite, and I’ll likely say yes.
