These creatures were previously nastier than they are now. The flame attack was unblockable in the game too, which was really annoying for us vampires, who are vulnerable to fire. They changed that in the last update, but the effect still made for a good addition to the card. The idea of charging red mana for the flame damage instead of green was the hubby’s. Made this card more interesting.
